Interview conducted by Alan Cherry as part of the LDS Afro-American Oral History Project of the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University on 17 March 1988. Willis talks of her early life in Chicago, Illinois and St. Louis, Missouri. She tells of her courtship and marriage, her religious experiences, her conversion to the Mormon Church, and its influence on her present life.
